I’ve experienced the right chemistry twice in my life. The first time it was apparent right way; in the first kiss. The second time I felt nothing the first time we shared a bed, but it came on big time every time after that; we didn‘t sleep at night when together. So I know from experience it doesn’t happen right a way. What are your thoughts/experiences?

I think it's there right away - maybe not necessarily on a sexual level at first, but on other levels, such as humour, conversation, shared viewpoints (or completely different viewpoints!). It's more a spiritual/mind connection, and then, later, there is the possibility for it to become physical chemistry.

I personally always look for that lasting chemistry with someone. I think people underestimate how important it is for creating lasting attraction. I'm not saying it's ALL that there should be, but it's like salt in cooking - without it, things are just bland...

Sounds to me like you have had two diametrically opposed situations. It's hard to compare one with the other.

I think sexual chemistry happens differently for a man than with a woman. I think a man feels and is attracted to a woamn and candidly would like to have sex right away.

I believe a woman is more attracted to a person after they get to know them more and is attracted to things other than what a guy thinks they are attracted to.

So sexual chemistry happens differently in a woman that it does in a man.

there are always exceptions to this -- but I feel that this is generally true.

With women...the sexual chemistry starts in the mind. With the first one, you were attracted to him physically--thus triggering the "chemistry". With the second guy, you weren't immediately attracted to him, but became attracted once you got to know him.
