I would like to eat more natural foods. Not totally vegetarian I still want to eat chicken and fish, but being raised a junk food junkie I know I have my work cut out for me. I need recipes and diet plans to help me get started.

I got the Fat Smash Diet by Dr. Ian Smith (the doctor from Celebrity Fit Club on the VH1 Channel). If you aren't looking for a diet...just a lifestyle change I think this is a good book. The book is straight common sense.

I totally understand how you feel because I am on the same quest as yourself. The first thing I did is learn how to cook. Being able to prepare your own food is a great option compared to eating out. The next question is but I do not know what to cook..and I do not recommend going through recipes..they are too time-consuming. However, there are some websites out there who offer planned menus that are healthy and easy to prepare. The best that I can recommend is www.savingdinner.com. They have a good selections of menus, and I would recommend either the body clutter menu, the heart-healthy-menu or the low-carb menu. I think this is a good place to start. If you just want to learn how to lose weight and eat well, you can also check out www.sixpacknow.com. They have a very detailed nutritional guide and you can even request one that is designed for you. However, you still have to choose what food to eat. So again I'm back to my planned menus suggestion. Anyway, good luck in your quest and may you have good health all your life.

Best thing you can do for your body is a whole foods natural diet. I highly recommend reading The Cindy Study by Dr. Campbell. Crash diets and low carb diets only hurt your body and are a temporary solution. For a life time of healthy living, start there.
