I was with a guy for over a year intimately but he had to move, do you think he misses me? Also, if the intimacy went on for that long, he was obviously attracted to me right? Then why didn't he commit? Didn't he genuinely care for me??

I will tell you why he did not commit... You were giving him what he was after with not requirement of anything else. I am not trying to be insulting here, but he saw you as a fu@k buddy and saw no need to take it any further. Does he miss you? Sure he does, he probably misses the fact that he could get it and not have any strings attached. Let that be a lesson and learn from it, guys will for the most part, only commit as much as they feel they need to in order to get what they want until they are ready to settle down.

I'm sure he does. How far did he moved? Ever thought of a possible long distance relationship? You need to learn to talk to him about these things because its sounds like you like him more than just an intimate relationship. If not, they you need to move on and find a new lover.
