There is no one traditional glass for either whiskey or whisky as far as I am aware with both being drank from a variety of glasses.
The most common glasses used however seem to be a short tumbler if drinking it on ice or with a mixer and a dram glass (shot style glass though often squared rather than round) it drinking it strait up.
P.S. A general tip with whiskey is if you have a bottle that is less than perfect use it to make whiskey macs (whiskey and ginger ale) the ginger ale helps breath life into even the most awful whiskeys

*LOL* I drink cc and water, on the rocks-tall if you please. at home I just use a regular old drinking glass. at bars though it usually comes in a tall "rocks" glass, which you can buy at almost any department, discount or kitchen- bath store
