I see this all the time. Is there some psychological reason to demote Jesus to being an infant? Is it to pluck at the heartstrings or win children over? Does anyone else think that this is bizarre?

It was a bit of a marketing ploy in the middle ages. The Catholic church decided that an adult, ruling, God of wrath wasnt attractive to as many people. I am sorry to see the church go that way. Unfortunately, that was the reason. Has carried over until today in many churches.

That the way she's going approximately it quite is only pushing you farther faraway from prepared faith and which you are going to discern issues out on your individual, without harm "help" and kindly provide her the Bible lower back and any notes she leaves you. Be continual yet respectful approximately it. If she nonetheless tries to push the concern, communicate on your mum and dad.

That is a new one on me. Baby Jesus as you called Him grew up to be Man Jesus to put it simple. One and the same my friend. Hope this helps. Jesus was BORN a baby just like the rest of us. He grew up just like the rest of us with all the temptations of man, and the hardships we face, so to be an example to us. The only thing that was different was that HE NEVER sinned.

Im not sure. He is the same person. Why do they do that? Jesus is still the smae but they seemt o stick Him int he past and keep Him as the babay, i guess. I don't worship the babay Jesus. Only theadult Jesus. He did His miracles at an older age, and did not do it as a baby so i don't know why other religons do that. But yeah thats all.

You are talking about mother-child cults. They do not desire repentance for their sin. Thew baby Jesus did not die for anybody's sins. Therefore, belief in any eternal benefits through worshiping the mother Mary and the baby Jesus is witchcraft.

People don't like harshness and violence. People like inocense and calmness. That's why people think Jesus was a goodie two shoes, but he did not respect earthly laws because they went against God. He told the pharisees that they were not saved to their faces. People don't like this side of Jesus because it shows him not being obediant to the law and we feel that everyone should obey the law, but Jesus was obeying the laws of God and if that contrdicts the laws of man then he will not obey the laws of man.

Catholics in particular worship the Baby Jesus as the three wise men did worship him in the manger and offered him gifts. They worship him from the beginning of his life to the end of his earthly life until today when he is back to his father's right hand in heaven.

Is there any difference? People who focus on such meaningless details are missing the lessons behind the teachings.

When celebrating Christmas, its perfectly logical to think of Him as a baby. Other than that, I have no idea of what you could possibly be talking about.
