It's really easy... I don't even make $15k in a year and I have two credit cards with bank of america totaling $9k... I have another Credit Card with the Military Star Card for another $2,700.

Just try different Banks... But you do need to have a decent Credit Score to get Decent Rates

Credit card companies issue cards to college students making no money at all. You shouldn't have any difficulty getting a card, but I advise strongly AGAINST it, unless you plan on having it for emergencies only (e.g., so you can rent a car if you should need to).

if all you want is the convenience of a credit card, you can try applying for a debit card.

ask more to the bank persons before you sign though.

i don't make 30k and i have several credit cards. as long as your debt to income isn't to bad, you really shouldn't have any trouble. well, unless there's something wrong with your credit.

STOP! Stay away from the evilness of credit cards. Don't ever go near them. Use cash instead, and be debt free.

Its not about how much you make but your credit worthiness. Meaning what does your score look like.
