I have been invited to attend an anniversary service for a Jewish girl in which I have been given a scholarship in her name. I don't want to embarass myself or disrespect her parents. Can anyone help out, are there certain things I should and should not do, can I wear color or should it be mostly black, I NEED HELP!!!

I can't think of anything that you may do that will embarrass you, or hurt them; even if they are very religious.

Act as if you were in a non-Jewish anniversary, as I don't believe you are expected to "act Jewish" for a day. We tend to treat our guests with plenty of understanding, and there's nothing that you may do "wrong", as it will not be very different from what you know.
Black is not an obligation, but I wouldn't recommend on wearing outlandish red, for example, or outraging decolletage.
White, pale-colored or black clothing would do just fine.
Try to avoid singlets, or sleeveless shirts.

That's it, I think...

Depends on the denomination. If it is an Orthodox service, be sure to dress very modestly -- skirt below knees, sleeves over elbows, no cleavage. For other denominations what you wear isn't a problem.

Many men will be wearing a head covering, but it's not required. It is only worn to acknowledge a higher power. If you'd like to wear one, it will be available at the door. Sometimes lacey ones are available for women.

There will be lots of standing and sitting similar to church services. Please don't feel uncomfortable -- you won't offend anyone. You are their guest and they will be glad to have you there.
