If the question is do you like (baby name, type of food, red kites?) Do you assume the asker does also & answer as such? (ex. If you like that you suck!) Or if the question is what would you do in "this situation" do you assume asker is going thru something similar to what they ask of you?

Yeah I do assume it applies to the asker, unless other wise stated by the asker!

That really depends on the question - if its do you like X baby name or type of food or red kites then I answer with my own opinion on whether I like them or not - I dont really answer those as if that what the asker likes or not these I just answer with my opinion - and to be honest I dont have any real opinion on red kites LOL any colour kite would do me fine :)

If the question is something like - I have these symptoms do you think I could be pregnant - I answer the question more objectively I give my opinion on what I think the answer would be but I do base my answer around the askers question and relate the answer to the asker and use my life experience to justify the answer.

If someone asks about a problem with their boss I answer in a different way again - I am an employer so I look at the question and answer in both the employers way of seeing things and also the askers way of seeing things I have been and employee and am now and employer so can see both sides to the question.

i anticipate the asker is in simple terms inquiring for some different person. Then I make no judgement yet provide my difficulty-free opinion. ((which truly MY judgement could recommend no longer some thing to human beings i don't understand besides))

Unless the asker specifies that it is in relation to another, I must assume that the question is pertaining to their situation.

Yes,i would say that most people would assume, that the question is coming from the asker.however, someone once told me that when you assume something that( you make an *** out of you and me)ha,ha but seriously ,most people do asume that. but in my case i have posted questions that someone else asked me.if i wasn't sure how to answer i would post it to get help.

Ah well..unless you really would wanna know..you wouldnt ask ...right ?

Its thy human nature not to bother abt anything that does not concern them..we are kindda selfish beings..

And so, when i answer a question, I definately think, the person asking has some kind of vested interest and so, I answer directly to the person...

Does this apply to you? I should ask all the askers before answering now. This answer doesn't apply to me, though.

you know what they say about assuming? it makes an *** out of you and me (assUme). why can't people just answer questions without thinkin it applies to that particular person? people come to us with questions because they need an opinion...they care about what we think. just answer the damn question...who cares if it applies to them or not. if they want you to know, they'll tell u
