If it is an important issue to you, then petition your high school to keep it the same. Get as many signatures from classmates as you can, organize a "Keep the Prom here" rally and present the school principal with the petition. Show an organized front.

If it is not an issue, let it go.

Are no students involved in arranging it? If they are then you should go to them or join them. If not then talk to the organisers and say the students arent happy with this and you would like to be involved in arranging it and getting the venue changed.

It's YOUR prom.

At least you get to have a prom. My whole life I have never been to a dance or a prom. So thank your lucky stars.

Consult your parents on this issue ...dear . They will guide you better. ...and can find out how long you need to go to school in neighbouring town...

You sound like a spoiled little brat! Money is becoming tighter and tighter these days kid. Get over it, and be thankful it is happening at all.
