Prescription diet pills are useful for severe obesity problems. These pills are regulated and their side effects are monitored. Some of these pills are Meridia (Sibutramine), Xenical (Orlistat), Adipex, Bontril, Didrex, Phentermine and Tenuate. Xenical is a lipase inhibitor, decreasing fat absorption by 30% resulting in a lower calorie intake. These pills will not be effective for losing weight , if a conventional weight loss plan is also not followed. More information available at http://www.toloseweight.org/weightlosspill.html

Orlistat (marketed as Xenical® by Roche), also known as tetrahydrolipstatin, is a drug designed to treat obesity. Its primary function is preventing the absorption of dietary fats, thereby reducing caloric intake. It is intended for use in conjunction with a physician-supervised reduced calorie diet.
Orlistat is the saturated derivative of lipstatin. Lipstatin was isolated from Streptomyces toxytricini and is also a potent inhibitor of pancreatic lipases. However due to more simplicity and stability orlistat rather than lipstatin has been developed into an anti-obesity drug.
The amount of weight loss achieved with orlistat varies. In 1 year clinical trials, between 35.5% and 54.8% of subjects achieved a 5% or greater decrease in body mass. Between 16.4% and 24.8% achieved at least a 10% decrease in body mass. A significant number of subjects regained the weight after they stopped using orlistat. Despite this cosmetically small effect, there was a 37% reduction in the incidence of Type 2 diabetes, a significant difference.

If you want the best bang for your buck get phentermine it's a perscription drug but can be found on the net without perscription. As for the ones your asking about check the labels on them. I have taken the Xyience products for over a year. They and Hydroxicut pretty much have the same ingredients in them. The main weightloss drug in there is Hoodia. To be honest you could just by plain hoodia pills for way less than xyience or hydroxicut. You paying for the name brand like most things now a days. Hope this helps

To get the best bang for your buck, and to be healthy, forget the drugs. Slowly lower the amount of calories taken in, and increase the exercise. Stay away from high fat items, and try not to eat heavy meals in the evening. Exercise, even walking 30 minutes a day will help.

Baggy clothes hide the body and encourage lounging around. So even though you're relaxing at home, wear fitted clothes to help keep you on track.

If you can prevent 500 energy each day you possibly can get rid of some sort of single pound a week.
