If jesus was killed on the cross over 2000 years ago. How can that possibly be to pay for my sins when i was only born 25 years ago? If it does, then why should i worry about committing anymore sins as it sounds like we are in credit.

Well then people should stop standing in my city center shouting at me that he died for my sins!

If god knows all of my sins before i commit them anyway, they he has already judged me and so its too late to change that and i should just carry on with it and not worry!

Also according to the bible all i have to do is ask for god forgiveness and he cant say no! So when i am on my death bed then i could ask for forgiveness and he will forgive me!

However, most of you seem to be suggesting that i wont get that chance because he will kill me in some horrible unexpected fashion before then!

That doesn't sound like a loving caring god to me?

He died on the cross for all sins past present and future knowing how human we all are. That does not give us the right to sin and say God will forgive me. We are to try hard to live a good and perfect life and when we fall or fail ask for forgiveness.

As God is not restricted in time as we know it, he knew you personally over 2,000 years ago. The Bible says that my name was written on his palm when he died, and so was yours. We are not meant to understand Gods perfect ways. And no that does not mean you can now sin w/o being punished. You have to repent reguraly and ask for Gods forgiveness. If you sin carelessly w/o repenting you will die a terrible death in hell. I'm not saying you have to be perfect to get to heaven, But you need to repent, be baptised in the name of Jesus, and be filled with the gift of the holy ghost. God is a very mercifull God. The Bible says his mercy endureth forever. But he does not forgive unless he is asked. I hope this helps.

He died for your sins too because God is all-knowing. This means that he already knows what you are going to do with your life. All we have to do is accept the sacrafice Christ made for us. This does not mean we are free to commit any sin we want to, because if a person has true faith and believes this happenned, then he will want to live for Christ.

His sacrifice had to be one that was strong enough to cover ALL sin for ALL time, because animal sacrifice was not going to be made possible any longer once the prophecy of Jerusalem being destroyed came to pass in 70 AD. and there needed to be a substitutionary sacrifice available. So, the covenant of salvation was established with Abram in the OT and the fulfillment came with His death. As for committing anymore sins, NO ONE is "in credit" because we OWE it to Him NOT to sin anymore once we come to the realization that we need to be redeemed! If we continue to sin after we're saved, we've made a mockery of His sacrifice. The Scripture goes as far as to say, "For him that KNOWETH to do good and DOETH IT NOT, to him it becomes SIN". Therefore, if you're going to talk the talk, you have to walk the walk, meaning you have to repent with a godly sorrow, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, live a sanctified life and receive the gift of th Holy Ghost as outlined in the Book of Acts.

His sin offering, the offering of his body, is eternal. Note that he is a passover sacrifice. As such, we are to eat the sacrifice. Since it is eternal, so is our call to eat of him.

While his offering is greater than any offense, you still must choose to take part in the offering. To do so without a contrite heart, will you not suffer as if you did not take part in the offering?

He didn't die on a cross and to hang an instrument of torture on a person neck seems ridiculous. I came into Christianity in the 3rd century by pagans. Who worshiped Talmuz a foreign God.
Conversion allowed for many false religious customs to be brought into Christianity such as the Easter Rabbit and Santa Clause.
As to his dieing, he bought back for mankind what Adam lost for us. In essence becoming our father instead of Adam.

Jesus died for EVERYONE. Today,Tomorrow,Forever.

Before Jesus died, people had to kill lambs to ask God for forgiveness. Now we just have to pray for forgiveness.. (:

Jesus paid the price for all mankind's sins to be able to be forgiven. In order to collect on that, you must be sorry you committed them and accept Jesus as your savior.

He died that day for the entire human race. Including you! Then he rose from the dead on the 3rd day and now we can all go to heaven if we just believe and accept him into our hearts..
He is GREAT!

His sacrifice was a gift. The tricky part is that you can accept it or reject it. And, being a Christian goes beyond being saved. Jesus followers are to accept that gift and then... strive to become more like Christ everyday.
