Yes it is possible, but I'm sure somewhere during the friendship one of them thinks about or has feelings towards that other person that go way beyond friendship. Doesn't mean they will act on it but the feeling is there.

Not really. Most men want to get into a girls pants. That is the reason for staying close. If a man tells you otherwise, he is probably lying.
For instance, just tell a guy friend "you're just like a brother to me." See how long he hangs around then.

In my opinion I'd say yes it is possible. Guys are guys therefore may have interest in you, however, if you keep it on a friend level and not entertain anything other than your friendship, they will back off. This is based on my experiene only

depends on how attractive the girl is. Sadly that's a general truth. However sometimes and in rare occassions, friends are just friends.

absolutely every guy isn't out there looking for just sex and neither are the ladies..I have lots of friends that are male and close friends that I would never dream of it going any farther..and neither would they i am a young attractive lady but committed to one that doesn't mean I can't have friends that have the same interest and dreams of the opposite sex

My opinion is that men and women cannot be "just" friends. Eventually one will develop feelings for the other or one will want to sleep with the other....although there are men and women that are friends.

Yes absolutely. When I was in high school my best friend was a guy. His name was Chuck. We were practically attached at the hip, but we didn't date - we dated other people. :) He came and cried at my wedding! lol
