Our leaders are stooping pretty low when thet bring themselves down to the level of the sadistic dictators that we have so long detested. The message we are sending is that it is OK to torture the enemy, and that would include the enemy torturing our soldiers. What happened to the Geneva convention?
The result of torture is inaccurate, twisted, and unreliable information. Those being tortured will often confess to anything, true or not, to stop the torture. They then want to use these coerced confessions and hearsay as evidence against others. Top that off with denial of "habeas corpus" and what do you have?? Seig Heil!!!

Is it OK to cut the head off of your prisoner of war or shoot him and hang his body where everyone can see him or explode car bombs in crowed places where noncombatants are or just because you are not Muslim if you think these people have a right to this for religion and not for there country. You are in the wrong country and you deserved to be torture with the enemy.

that's cool if that's unique, yet an excellent variety of the time that's merely something it really is been performed earlier. Or that's 1/2 a huge gesture, like he tried to do something particular to seem cool yet change into afraid to get too loopy. once you're going to do it, then do all of it the way! also, even as it really is a huge promposal in the front of a gaggle of human beings, I imagine it will be an excellent variety of stress to assert convinced, it really is bigoted. maximum seriously, it relies upon on the fellow your asking's personality. would they quite opt to be requested the way that you're taking under consideration? If no longer, then do not do it - you're in worry-free words wondering about your self(attempting to prepare off to different individuals). i in my opinion would hate a public promposal, yet a own one remote from different individuals will be powerful. do not pass intense if that man or woman doesn't like intense.

I think we need to see what the Supreme Court does with the law. Much as he may wish to, King George does NOT trump the Constitution.
Habeas Corpus abolishment seems a bit unreal, to me.

If torture saves American lives, so be it. We are dealing with uncivilized behavior of individuals who have no respect for life.
