Jehovah Witness are good people.
The sad thing is there soul is based on a bible that they believe is true because it sounds good. Why is there no other bible before theirs that removed "worship" everywhere concerning Jesus. If there bible is true then all man is condemned before the NWT printed in 1950's.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 speaks of blinding of "god news of christ" and that is what the New Word Translation does.

From what I have seen J.W. have their own bible-they have added to the bible. They don't want to hear when someone offers to read from the King James version. I understand also that many follow the instructions of the watch tower only. That is not following the bible. I do respect JW for the way they are getting out and trying to convert. But of course true religion isn't about works. It is all about grace. No matter how much work you do you don't merit the mercy or love of God it is a gift.

Yes, I do! Like most cult members that true Christians want to avoid, Jehovah's Witnesses will quote from the Bible and skew it's meaning to where it conforms to the shape they're trying to bend it into. JW's should be included in all TRUE Christians prayers. We should pray that the Lord supernaturally remove the veil from their eyes so that they can be anointed to serve their fellow man and not just those they fellowship with. Of course, the JW has been brainwashed into believing it's HORRIBLE doctrine and is held captive by this CULT. Faith in Christ should be from the heart and a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus, not a bunch of legalisms and doctrinal garbage to weigh you down. Brother, I know that you are convinced that JW's are the only ones getting into heaven, that belief in itself will be what keeps you OUT!!! See the TRUTH, know Jesus, not a bunch of legalistic thinking which will cause you to stumble. Peace.

No, I notice how they answer from indoctrination by the watch tower society. I notice how they have predicted the end of the world numerous times and had to look dumb because of it. I notice how they are watched and have records kept on them and how they insult the price Jesus paid for their salvation, by thinking they can earn it. I notice how they have gone against the bible by adding to or taking away from the bible. I notice how they would rather their kids die than get a blood transfusion, and how they will not salute the flag or serve their country by going into the military, but they enjoy the freedoms that others have fought and died for.

I notice how they take things out of context and have to use a translation which they invented to conform to their beliefs.
Funny if you read the bible alone one will believe differently than what the Watchtower teaches. That should tell anyone a lot

You answer from opinions that you see in Watchtower publications.
Your religion tells you what the scriptures mean, and they often take them out of context.
I've read Watchtowers and i cant but be amazed at how they'll take a one sentence of scripture and use it to define a whole paragraph of doctrine.
I dont hate or despise you (like you think everyone in the world does), i really feel sorry for you. If you're a good witness you go to 5 one hour meetings a week and at least 2 hours of field service a week. You're told not to pursue personal goals and instead pursue "spiritual" goals (which are really goals of your organization). And you'll spend the rest of your life droning to meetings, field service, assemblies and conventions. and in the end, you will be forgotten.
I just hope that in the end, you dont realize how you've wasted your life.

I admire your faith in your religion and your knowledge. I have close relatives who are Jehovah's Witnesses, and have had many interesting conversations and Biblical discussions with them. I was once in a similar type church as the witnesses. In fact, when I was studying over which one taught the truth, I decided against the witnesses. Even tho there is alot of Biblical knowledge, I have many issues with their doctrines.
First of all the name "Jehovah" is not the only name for God. God has many names that were taken out of the KJ Bible, and since names are reputations to God, God's reputation is not allowed to be known in your Bible.
I do not believe in getting others to join forcefully, by cramming it down their throat. Jesus is the only one who can save us, and our salvation is up to Jesus, not a single other person or group. Altho, the witnesses mean well.
There are many Biblical truths, and those truths come from the Bible. Since this is true, there is no one "religion" which is "the TRUTH" as witnesses believe and tell others. Jesus is the truth, no matter what a person chooses to follow. True religion, is SPIRITUALITY"...and God allows this to allow us to grow individually, not as a group. We are not saved by the group we're in! We're saved by Jesus. Witnesses do NOT have the market on Salvation.
During Biblical discussions with some people, they do not have their eyes and ears open to something "controversial" to what they believe. They already have their minds made up, and their "truth" is the only truth! I wonder how God sees this? Wouldn't God want us to keep studying and growing, even if it means we have to change? I believe so. Thank God!
Taking any scripture out of context is wrong, so getting to the real truth seems to be rather hard to do, in discussions with a witness...I've tried for years.
I'm sorry to be kind of negative about your religion, but it is not for everyone...Many, many, many others have a great understanding of the Bible, and they come from lots of different faiths...the one thing they have in common is their love for Jesus, which is where it's at!
Following the Witnesses beliefs, has torn apart my relatives family...the stictness, not having Thanksgiving dinners together, for ex., the continous control of the group to keep a person following all the rules, disfellowshipping, etc...and many other issues.
You cannot save our eternal life! Only Jesus has the power to do that.
When Jesus returns, will He be a witness?
I believe Jesus was a Jew, and He showed us how to follow Him, by living the life He did, and dying for us. The name of the religion won't matter to Christ...He just wants us to follow Him in Spirit and in truth...His truth,.... not a man made religion.

I think all christians should be able to do that.
By doing so, it means they live or strive to live to the way the bible god want them to live.
It makes sense for them to reply according to their book. The book which is their guide, their ultimate reference.
Many people find them annoying, but these people are doing just like jesus wanted his disciples to do and those people who find them annoying and even ridiculise them, aren't they behaving like the jews?
I am religionless (yet) and I'm subscribe to many religious magazines, and two of them are awake and the watchtower. I find them more interesting to read than hollywood stuff, especially if you like the art of argumentation and passionate by religions.
They are the only religious sect so far in christianism who knows more biblic reference by heart than any other sects.
If you are a christian of different sect and want to show ur superiority to them, then you should fight them or "ridiculise" them by using the bible itself. Can you?
Dare :)

Yes.
And Jehovah only opens the hearts of those who are willing to listen to him. Those who are prepared to be molded by him. Those humble & meek enough to be corrected by the scriptures. If we haven't got these qualities then he cannot do anything with us at all.
Seek meekness - ZEPHANIAH 2:2,3
