Because it fit the story better. The Bible wouldn't have gotten as many converts if it said, "And Jesus, because he lived a pure life, lived happily ever after and helped all of mankind live a similar life." You need conflict in any good fable.

No Jesus is God's son and when he was sent down he was Jesus in human form.
Jesus was powerless in the face of some human back then for the same reasons hes powerless to some people today because they don't believe and that they are very unknowing to the works of GOD.

Jesus was never powerless. He had the Father to protect Him. He was showing us that we will suffer many hardships on earth to purify our souls in order to be recieved in Heaven at the time of our death on earth. We face many challenges in a negative world, and we should accept them for what they are, challenges and opportunities to get closer to the Holy Spirit within ourselves. This will bring us closer to our God, Budda, etc. and will lead us Home to accept our next challenge.

what do you believe?we all are in GOD'S human ultimate self, our soul and spirit entered his ultimate self, our powers are reality not magic and fantasies,we have all the tools necessary to make real miracles, not the fairytale ones, god is reality thus so are we,that challenge of doing miracles with what we have has a result of great feelings you only get from doing what GOD does and that is positive goodness.Your question is negative, you only want to discredit someone else but we need you to help answer these questions as all of us ,2006 it is our turn to come up with answers because we know more.

dear sir
you can get the koran in english had you read the book you would know that the koran highly revears jesus as a VERY respected teacher of truth ,but clearly you have never sighted that text
i read you phub as a deliberate attempt to suggest you are a muslem or of the other believers of god ,
whatever
i feel you must explain who you are pretending to be
in offending one of the great prophetts
he was not poerless as you presume ,he knew he was to be the lamb whose blood would be the final sacrifice man made to the true god
,it is not cooincidence he died on passover ,recall that easter is the beginning of exodus ,it is to our shame we celibrate his important proofs with chocolate eggs and rabits ,
the free ing of jesus people ,my people is the important point many of christs deciples missed exodus completly but it is was the second greatest even in human histry ,
but the death of the true mesiah is the greatest event never really seen for what it is by his own
indeed set my people free ,know the truth can set us all free.
