they are called big feet, they are a safety device to direct you in the right lane of traffic.

Oh Yes the things we weave around at the autocross events. Actualy called trafficators Cones replaced round oil burning lamps & white wooden sawhorses with red stripes. and now cones are being phased out in favor of larger barrels turned upside down with sand bag inside and rubber mat base. The average life time of the cone was only 18 months. So the new plastic barrels and flat reflectors with rubber bases might last a couple of years.
