because hugo chavez controls and sells the oil to citgo, 7/11 in a bold move has decided to no longer sell citgo products because of the dictator's tirade against the u.s.....anyone else know of any companies boycotting like this? are you?

7/11 is a huge customer for them. The boycott will have an impact. I stopped buying Citgo when this thing started. Chavez is holding hands with Iran. We dont need to support that.

All he did was exercize free speech, I personally am boycoting 7-11 for their unamerican activitys. I will buy my gas from Citgo if the price is lower which is my right.

7-11 is not boycotting Citgo, they simply chose not to renew their contract to carry their brand. Here is a list of people currently boycotting:

I will not be purchasing Citgo gas anymore. Which is unfortunate because now I have to go out of my way but it will be worth it. I hope to see others answering this question saying the same thing.

i dont know any other company boycotting citgo, i dont know if it is really accurate to call what 7/11 is doing as boycotting
i think hugo chavez is a jackass and we should give him a whupping
if we had any brains, we would realize that boycotting venezuelan oil does not hurt them, it hurts us (the US)
if we had any brains, we would realize that by keeping gas prices at such a low level, we are subsidizing the use of oil, thus helping people like chavez and iran, and the rest of the jackasses that hate us and want to kill us
if we had any brains, we would raise the gas tax to reflect the true cost of using oil, this means raising it by several dollars per gallon
if we had any brains, we would not make stupid knee jerk reactions like saying "i dont want to pay $7 gallon like the jackass french", instead, we would say, we should pay $10 gallon, and not be stupid like the jackass french and pay only $7 gallon
the cost of using fossil fuels is subsidized by your income tax, if you have any question about this, take a look at how much you paid in federal income tax last year, and compare it to what you paid in federal gas tax--the average person in the US pays 100 times as much in income tax as they do in gas tax. think about this, we still pay for roads, military, and all the other costs associated with using all this oil, but we pay for it all out of our income tax. wouldnt you rather we pay more gas tax and less income tax, and stop subsidizing the use of oil by keeping gas prices artificially low, thus helping jackasses like hugo? its really simple, just think about it logically and the conclusion is very obvious

I am there buying from Citgo. Bush can take care of his own enemies that he has cultivated.
He didn't care that I did not support the war, he shouldn't care that I will support Citgo

7/11 is not actually boycotting CITGO. Their contract ran out and they are just not renewing it.
