I really love cooking but my mum is stubborn and won't let me do anything in the kitchen. When I do get to cook I clean up well and don't make mess. I just don't get why she's like that. It's like she's selfish with her kitchen and ingredients... ... ... I really want to get to cook more.. any advice on how to talk her into letting me???

Just ask her to watch you while you cook. She might be concerned you may hurt yourself. Assure her you will be fine, and if your skills are good, you can actually let her take a break once in a while. I'm sure mothers will be happy if children volunteer to take some household chores of them. ( ^ - ^ )
Well, if she still refuse after you said all that, then i think it's better you ask her why.

Well talk to your mother look at her eyes. Or just surprice her by cooking mouth watery meals. or maybe join a cooking contest in your school and show what you got!

as a mom, this would be you growing up and some mothers cant handle it. she should look at it in a different way and be proud of what you want to do.........give her time.
