It definitely should be noted on your business card, right after your name. Whether you choose to also include it on other things is up to you - and dependent on how relevant it is to the recipient. It is very standard practice to list it on business cards, however. You worked hard for it and it is expected on that media.

It is fine to use Phd after your name when the use is related to you business, as I assume your business card is.
If you were ordering calling cards or personal cards, you would have the option of adding it or leaving it off, depending on if the people you are calling on need this to help identify you. For example, do you go by "Dr. Smith" or "Mr. Smith?" If the former, use the Phd; if not, use the latter.

Well, you certainly shouldn't put Ph.D. if you don't actually hold the degree.

I think I would put it on my business card, since the Ph.D. supposedly qualifies me to do the type of business that I'm advertising. But I wouldn't put it on personal stationery or notes to friends or something like that.

I would use it on all my stationery. It's quite an accomplishment.
