Is there a Converter that can do this? A link to purchase such converter or a link to a picture of the converter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Visiting local Radio Shack didn't help. The Clerk there had intelligence slightly above a lettuce. When I wanted to test a set of speakers from the store prior to purchasing, he told me that he couldn’t let me test the demo Speakers because "We don’t have anything to plug the speakers into"…

To do this as suggested in your photo you will need some speaker to line adapter which incorporates a "pad" or "attenuator' circuit to reduce the signal level enough to match the input of the PC. You should be extremely careful in doing this because the amplifier delivers enough power to destroy the sound card input circuits if you are not very careful.

An easier way to do this might be to use either a line output or a headphone jack if your mini-component has these. This would negate the need for a pad or attenuator and would only require an adapter cable.

Email me with model numbers for further details.

Go to Radio Shack store and get some adapters. Bring your equipment in to make sure you are getting the right parts.
