Your answers sound hard, and yet your heart is yearning to be fulfilled, as revealed by your being drawn to my questions. I urge you to consider the possibility of a great love, that causes you to value their life far more than your own, That is when we are at our very best as human beings.

Yes, I would lay my life down for my friend, and she would do the same for me---we both are close and recently went through a terrible loss together...there is no doubt in my mind that she would lay her life on the line for me, and I know I would lay my life on the line for her.....One KNOWS when they have such a friend....

How do you mean?

Do you mean the type to take a bullet for or the type to change the course of you dreams and goals to allow for the other to pursue theirs?

I would take a bullet for not just a friend but anyone if it meant saving them even if they wouldn’t do the same.

And I have sacrificed so much in my life to allow for another to pursue their goals and dreams. I know whole heartedly that they would do the same for me.

Yes I would, without question, and both of my friends would do the same for me, I may only have two real friends in the world, but I am content.

There is only one person I would do this for and he would do the same for me. He is my best friend, the one I can tell or say anything to and I know he won't tell a soul.

No, that's not what life is for. Things might be different when my children would take the place of that friend. And they shouldn't do the same for me.

No one can say for sure that they will or will not lay their life down for a friend because some might only do it for certain friends.
