It may turn out to be nothing, especially if she's particularly young and is still expelling stuff after the birth, but anything like that needs to be checked. please phone your health visitor or whoever you're under!

if she is a new born then this is quite normal- hormones and all that- if she is over 1 week old I suggest you get to the doctor asap- it could be an infection and will be very uncomfortable for her!

you never said how old she is my daughter had this as newborn the midwife said new babies can have a one off period but take her the doctors anyway for true peace of mind
