Whites want to be tan/olive skin etc but asians want to be super fair????

it's normal for people to wanna to be different than they've been all their lives. I mean i'm white and i wish that i was born spanish so i have naturally tanned/olive skin instead of having to struggle to get a tan sunbaking. Anyways, so it's normal to wanna be different because people wanna know what it would be like if they actually were different. =)

Everyone spends part of their lives trying to be what they aren't. The other side always looks better and it's natural to want what you don't have at times. But, it's a sure sign of maturity when you realize you like what you are and want to work with what you have. With any luck we all get to that point where we are truly happy with ourselves and those around us.

Says who??? We're all ourselves. Not all want what you suggest. I know plenty of "whities" who like the white white skin. I know blacks that love their dark skin.
If your one of those that aren't happy with what the good lord gave you, then good luck becoming what ever color you choose.

Because of fashion and TV. People want to be what television portrays. Although, you shouldn't believe everything you see. Just be who you are and that's better than anything touched up on TV.

b/c people always think the grass is greener on the other side and the media corrupts....i am an american and as pale as a sheet but my b/f LOVES it (makes me easy to find in the dark) people just need to learn to accept themselves the way they are.

We all want what we can't have.....straight haired people want curly hair and visa versa. Blondes want to be brunettes and visa versa. Girls want to be boys and visa versa....short people want to be tall and visa versa...That's just life

they aren't comfortable with themselves so they change their appearance because they think it will change them and the way they feel about themselves.
