My friend has lost contact with her father , last known to be in thailand?

Hi my friend has lost contact with her father , he was last known to be living in Thailand.She has asked family members but due to family conflict they will not help her.She is 26 so no boundries with accessing legal information.Is there any way she can try and find him?

It depends in which city he was saying.
Most cities have various groups of expats, who might be willing to help in the search. Contact me privately with as many details as possible. I lived there for ten years, and have many friends in many cities, so as a last resort, I may be able to help - I do not live there now, but still have contacts in Phuket, Pattaya, and Chiang Mai.

Thailand is a big place and many people live here without registering with any of the authorities. That said, you might want to try the Thailand Embassy or Consulate of your own country. I personally don't think you'll get much help from any of the Thai government or authorities.
There are a couple of detective agencies here in Bangkok, so if all else fails it might be worth speaking to them. Good luck.

Hard to say - but normally foreigners stick together time by time. All nationalities have their places to meet, bars, cafee's, restaurant's etc

i dont really no. but i no how she feels sort of my dad left when i was three ive aparently seen him in the street ive actually sat by him to on a bus with out realising it but i dont no what he looks like or his address all i no is his name is kevin reed jones ive asked round to but cant find him i cant ask my fam as they wont approve of me finding him it does realy hurt i think you wanna just try your best with her mostly try to support her in watever i no what it feels like not to have or feel any support in this i hope i helped som how good luck love i hope everything works out with your friend
