At their ages, anyplace close to home. Been there and made the mistake of trying to enjoy a holiday stay in a hotel in London with a 3 year old and an infant. We spent most of the time tending to the little ones's needs than enjoying the attractions of the city and surrounds. It became a chore rather than a decent holiday. Let 'em grow a few more years before getting real adventurous, says I.

I did Dominican for 3 weeks with a 1 and 2 year old - Nightmare with the kids and not much for them to do.

So I decided to go to Haven caravan sights this year instead. Best thing we ever did and the kids get quite alot of freedom whilst remaining safe.

As its cheaper than going abroad we managed to have 3 holidays through the year.

i went to alcudia in Majorca this year as a last mintue deal. we stayed in the Bellevue Apts. It cost us £99 and the apts were wkd, there is 8 diffrent apt blocks with 8 swimming pools, kids playgrounds, mini golf, entertainment at night for all ages. They also did activies round the pool. We were a bit worried about going majorca as its to british for us. but we couldnt fault it the hotel was brilliant, and kids are deffnetly well catered for and its not a stupid amount of money either! failing that disneyland is deffently a good idea as its great for all ages im 21 and still love it!

In England I would say Blackpool. Lots of lights, rides and things that small kids love.
** A day in the tower (which includes a circus and hugh indoor play area) I know it's £10 adults but can't remember the child prices.
** Blackpool Pleasure Beach fairground.
** The beach (which is now clean enough to touch) witn donkeys.
** Three piers.
They'd love it.

In the USA I'd say Disney World Florida 'cause there's lots of walking characters, shows and rides.

My parents always used to take us to Jersey and we loved it! We used to stay at the St Brelade's Bay Hotel which is still going strong and has fantastic kids' facilities. It's right on the beach and is a lovely, child friendly place. I have very fond memories of learning to swim there and of the children's pool and play area. Plus it's only a short flight from the UK!

We loved Myrtle Beach, SC for our family vacation. Affordable 3 bedroom condo on the beach with an ocean view (balcony and all - beautiful!!), 2 bathrooms, kitchen and laundry right in the condo. There were lots of activities for the kids, and the beach is lovely. Perfect family destination.

The Gower Peninsular in S Wales. It has the lot! Mountains, sandy beaches, lovely villages and sublime resturaunts.
Failing that, there is always Pembrokeshire, notably Tenby. It is surrounded on 3 sides by awesome sandy beaches and is cuteness personified.
