how can you tell if a man its telling you rubbish?

says one thing sober and another when drunk, what to believe?

see that's the thing when he's sober he is concious of what he is saying and can lie very easily, as a drunk he is liable to telling the truth alot better, because he has no control over what he is saying, but him being too drunk will just make him sounds silly and he might blurt out a dream he had and think it was real. So well it's up to your judgement, I mean honestly just use your common sense, if what he is saying doesn't add up to what his actions show then you know he is lying, but if he is saying something that does click in your head to be true, then you know he's telling the truth.

Initially, it's always best to assume that the man's talking rubbish, that way you won't be misled, disappointed or made to feel stupid. If time proves that what he's said isn't rubbish, well that's a bonus! Have only just read the second part of your question! If he changes tack depending on whether he's drunk or sober, then he's totally unreliable - need I say more?!

Men will generally lay a lot of "rubbish" on you at first because we're competitive and trying to impress. Ignore about 50% of what's said at the start. Now if we've been dating you a while you can trust most of what we say unless we are trying to keep from making you mad or trying to get our own way about something. After we've been together for a few years you have probably got us figured out better than we do ourselves. By then you know when we're rubbish filled and why. It's a lot less often because we know how easily you can bust us for it by then. Remember this, except for the hard core cheaters, most men are only full of rubbish when their false pride, embarassment, or competitive nature takes over. It doesn't mean we think you are stupid -- we're just too stupid to know better!! Sorry!
