There is a kiosk in University Mall near Hot Topic that sell them. 2 different types, a lower grade and a high grade version. Seen a lot of women buy from there on the weekends. Hope this helps

Sally Beauty Supply or if you know a licensed stylist order one from them from Beauty Alliance. These are both chain stores with locations all over the bay area: Dale Mabry, Waters Ave, Hillsborough Ave, etc.

Sally's Beauty Supply is great for many things but a high quality Ceramic Iron is not one of them. They do not sell the Chi hair straightener, I can tell you from extensive experience BUY THE CHI. My mother, sister and myself all have it and we all have different needs! It suits us all. My sister has thick mega-curls, I have frizz prone wavvy hair, and my Mom has dry, thin, hair..We all love the silky results of the Chi. You can even buy it online, prices are going down.
**I'm in Europe since '05, I do need to know where I can buy one in EUROPE I need my Chi hiar straightener!!!
