The FASTEST way to gain weight, if you're indiscriminate about the type of weight you gain- is going to be eating- not sugary foods- not fatty foods- but high carb foods. eat lots and lots of bread. your body converts this to sugar and then directly to fat. almost all of it that you don't expel or burn up is stored. unlike striaght sugar wich is burned up quickly, and fat which is mostly digested (a good bit of it IS stored, don't get me wrong) carbs tend to stick and stick hard.

However, if you want to gain weight and be healthy, you have two options. Muscle- which is garnered mostly by the lifting of weights in some way- pushing your muscles beyond their limit so that your immune systems heals them in such a way that they become big enough to handle more weight- you can also help your immune system out while lifting weights by eating lots of protein- like peanut butter and tuna. You also have the option of eating just as fatty- but using foods that contain more healthy fats. people on diets like this are the jolly husky people you see- as opposed to the sick looking fattys that whine and complain and sit on their asses. I recommend muscle gain. The fastest way is to lift weights, eat and drink (shakes) pleanty of protein and get lots of sleep. Good luck

Be patient, as gaining weight can be a slow process ... it seems in "skinny" people that no sooner do they gain one kilo, they lose it. What you need is not to give up exercising (as muscle mass is important) but increase your kilojoule level by at least 2000kJ per day more. Make sure you eat frequently, snacking on dried fruits, nuts, cheeses and small sandwiches. Never skip a meal, even if you are not too hungry. At least have something like crackers and eggs. Choose drinks of higher nutritional and kilojoule value, eg fruit juices, milks, milkshakes and egg flips, high-energy drinks like Ensure plus, Resource plus and Sustagen are useful for those extra kilojoules. Here are some useful sites as well that may help you:

Okay I have your problem, and here is some serious answers that I have researched/been told. First of all, still eat healthy, dont stuff yourself silly, and do excercise.

Eat higher calorie fruits and veggies (bananas, carrots, apples basically any fruit and veggie that is not watery.

protein! Eat lean meat, eat peanutbutter, ask your doctor about taking some protein powder, my doc prescribed me some to take, and it actually doesn't taste to bad.

Eat healthy high calorie foods like nuts, legumes, wheat crackers.

Never be plain. Top your toast with maregines made with healthy fats, peanut butter, jelly. add cheese to your scrambled eggs. This will add calories without filling you up. Cook with healthy olive oil and sprinkle it on your saled, add eggs, crackers and other filling stuff to your salads. fill omelets with cheese and veggies. Order creamy soups.

Swich to whole grains, there healthier and more calorie dense. Eat complex carbohydrates, not loads of sugar.

Eat 3 meals and at least 3 snacks.

here are some healthy high calorie snack ideas.

1. plain full fat yogurt and frozen berries blended together and some peanuts mixed, makes a great dip.

2. Cheesy garlic bread made with whole wheat bread.

3.peanut butter on toast with bananas washed down with full fat milk.

4.whole wheat blueberry muffins, or pancakes

5. Pasta!

6. homemade pizza.

Now, If you wanna gain weight but still be healthy do weight training and resistance excercises. Do crunches, and buy hand and ankle weights, and use them. And jump rope too, or swim.remember muscle ways more than fat!

Lots of protein- but you do need the right sort of protein. If you put on weight unhealthily it won't do you any favours!

Gain weight quick? Just add fat - butter or cream - to everything you eat. But do you really want an aneurysm as well?

If you need to put on weight, it's best to go slowly by eating a bit more of what is actually good for you - which will, of course, include butters and fats within reason anyway.

Oh, I wish I had your problem.....

Simply make a small incision in your stomach and fill with bricks until satisfied you've arrived at your target weight. Then, sew up the hole with needle and thread, happy that your work is done.

For an added weight kick, try smearing the bricks in lard.

Eat a bunch of starchy food and don't exercise. For example: Eat potatoes with sour cream and a ton of butter. Eat chips. Drink soda pop. Eat fast food. All these calories will be stored as fat in your body.
