Meat (liver) takes approximately 1 week in the human body to digest. During that time it becomes putrid, as the human body is not designed to digest flesh of other mammals. This putrid matter is the perfect breeding ground for illness.

Sawyer, I dispute your answer. Of course the human body is designed to handle mammal meat - we are omnivores, we eat everything! In fact, historically, the cavement were porbably eating more meat than other items - fruit was probably the next biggest thing. The fact that we have canine and incisor teeth show that we are meat-eaters, these sharp teeth are designed to cut through flesh. The molars at the back of the mouth are the ones designed to mash vegetables and fruit to a pulp.
We have a digestive system designed to cope with pretty much everything we throw at it. Of course there are bacteria in the gut - haven't you heard of those "friendly" bacteria? They help our system breakdown the food into a small enough molecule that can then pass through the gut wall into the body as useable fuel.
The reason it takes so long to pass through the gut is to get as much out of the digested material that our bodies can. Note - digested, not putrid!
I'm pretty sore if we weren't designed to eat meat, we as a species would not be eating meat - but we do, evolution designed us that way.

I love both fruits and fresh vegetables better, however they look and taste. You desire a little of both.

In the event it's a fruit they have seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.
