Every country has Copyright registrars appointed by the respective governments. Once you register your copyright in your country, you can apply to the USA authorities too for registration of your copyright.

Then you need to check the copyright laws for where you live.

Without knowing where you are, it's hard to point you in the right direction. From this link, http://www.wipo.int/directory/en/urls.jsp -- Directory from WIPO, you'll be able to find the correct info for your country.
