The French one's good and fiery, as a national anthem should be. Can't get worked up about God Save the Queen (it's not really about our country, just the monarchy, and anyway i don't know beyond the first verse), would far prefer something like 'Rule Britannia' although we don't rule much of the world anymore.

İstiklal Marşı - The Turkish National Anthem (Of course I'm a Turk and not objective :)

If I am objective (and I think that's what you want) La Marseillaise has the best tune, but the words are utterly deplorable and bloodthirsty. So I think I'll go for Ha Tikvah ("The Hope"), which has a fantastic tune based the melody on a musical theme found in Bedrich Smetana’s "Moldau." Although the one which gives me goose pimples is "Hen Wlad fy Nhadau", the Welsh one.

The Anthem of my own country (Ireland) of course. The Marseillese & The Star Spangled Banner are both rousing too, though both are quite difficult to sing.

haTikva, closely followed by the old Soviet Russian anthem.

Which is funny because I like neither Israel nor Russians.

i like the one from france, the marseillaise, it seems to stick into my head, and i can't get it out, but then all national anthems r good, cos they can be funny, if you understand the words...

I can't decide whether the Italian, the French or the Irish one is best.
If I really had to chose I think the Italian.
