I would say no it isn't any good. Food needs to be refrigerated. If left out overnight it could have spoiled. Throw it out, it is better to be safe than sorry later.

It depends on several things.

If the soup contains no milk or cream it should be fine if it only stood for one nght.

If it does have milk or cream it should still be ok if it is not too hot where you are. If the ambient temperature didn't go above about 20 degrees centigrade I would keep the soup and it should be ok.

Nope!!! Don't take the chance. Unless your overnight environment was cooler than 45 degrees F, throw it out!

Do not keep it throw it out! The rule of thumb to avoid food poisoning is keep hot things hot and cold things cold. Food needs to be maintained at certain temperatures in order to keep bacteria from growing.

Don't get so paranoid!

One night is okay, especially in temperate climates.
Just heat it up thoroughtly and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

If you're not sure, give it a good sniff. If you detect a STRONG sour smell, then it's gone bad and should be thrown away.

If there's no smell or just a very faint whiff of it, it's still okay. Heat through well.

NO, NO< NO. Don't even feed it to the dog. If in doubt throw it out. Chicken gets salminella in it and unless you like to stay in the bathroom all day sick then don't even think about eating it.

Your ok to reheat your chicken soup. Just remember to bring it up to 185 degrees celcius, or boiling for 45 seconds to help kill any bacteria found ini it.

hmmmm. That is tricky. Does it have any milk in it? If it does, give it to the dog. If it doesn't go ahead and put it in the refrigerator and eat it today.

No. Any food that is served warm is accumulating bacteria that can be harmful after two hours of sitting out.
