They most certainly do make lots of money. The only people who do not pay taxes in are the ones who work for cash. This mainly working for cash will be found in the construction business where they have many American dead beat dads working also to escape paying child support. People who work in industries are paid by checks not cash and the appropriate taxes are deducted from these checks......... so you see the government is making billions...... otherwise why do you think they have not had mass deportations yet.

We are missing the point,If illegal immigration is saving the government any money, how come the problem was not addressed before 9/11? We as a nation are pitted against each other as we have done with ourselves during the civil war, when the buisnesses that are in the USA still have to compete with foreign competition for the last of our local markets, with higher taxes and the highest quality of worker benifit anywhere in the world, middle class buisnesses do not stand a chance against foreign competition, products are cheap, imported from other nations but the cost and method of production are so vastly lopsided that for a few dollars we err to purchase from WAL-mart chains, than the local grocery stores that pay higher wages and give better benifits than WAL-MART,there is a reason why they are the biggest,by effectivly advertising to the public another form of propaganda, but is not without a price to pay, this thirst for cheap prices is undercutting at our AMERICAN jobs and the outsourcing of our services, because of it we have created an economy in INDIA and exported our birthright to CHINAand very well may have the future of our children, allowing ourselves to finance big buisnesses and widen our middle class gap,if immigrants are such a problem in our country our scholars in the future will very well have to find their future in INDIA or CHINA since we blatantly export the quality of living that was set forth by our founding fathers, compromise the quality of human rights around the world, and the effortof our heroes that die and are still dying for it overseas,if anyone still thinks illegal immigration is the biggest problem that we have think again,we all are a means to an end,it,s AMERICA, do the math

The question you asked is wrong, because no illegal alien work for the US government or state government, so their is no saving. Now, your question should it be, How much money does illegal aliens cost the US government and their citizens? Well, I tell you billions and billions of dollars we have to spend on them. They also drain our economy sending all those millions back to their country of origin. Now if this was happening in your country, what will you and your government do to stop it? Do you think to have all these illegals, millions of them is good to any economy? Maybe for the corporations they work for but not for the citizens because we still have to pay the same prices for the goods we buy. The corporations are the ones that are saving the money, not the government.

Illegal immigrants aren't working for the government. The government is probably giving up some tax money because of the cheap labor.

The U.S. governerment doesn't save anything because illegal immigrants don't work for the government. In fact the government probably loses money because the illegal immigrants don't pay taxes.

The u.s. government takes a huge hit from illegal immigrant labor because they do not collect taxes on it and they cannot and do not higher illegal workers.
I personally hate our immigration policy, a person is legal or not depending on how the immigrant's status benefits our ruling class. Plus, America keeps things desparate in Latin America. But the savings don't get passed on to us taxpayers- the savings go right to the millionaires and billionaires.

I doubt that the government is saving ANY money. In fact, since the immigrants are eligible for social security, schooling, medical, and other services, I'd say that it's costing them many billions of dollars. The people who are saving are the employers, the big corporations, and the people footing the whole bill are the citizens.

I don't know if it is billions, but I am sure it is something. That is a good point, though. When we talk about illegal immigration only being good for 'big business' sometimes we forget that our own government IS big business...
However, I have never known them to be frugal in hiring before, so I doubt that is too much of a factor.

It isn't. It (we the people) are paying for it. Additional schools and teachers to teach them English, hospitals closing down trauma centers because they use them as a form of medical insurance. Tax money lost (IRS) and billions sent back to mexico which is never spent here in this Country.
So how is it the US Gov. is saving money????

You are dead wrong.
Like Dolly Parton said
"It cost a fortune to look this cheap"
Illegals cost all Americans way too much money....
A life without illegals will bring our tax dollars WAY down....
We cannot afford our generosity anymore...
Especially when so many are so ungrateful for what they have.
The greatest sin of all is ingratitude...and that is the downfall of illegals.
