of course u can..if u put a small amount of oil and then wash it off with a little shampoo ...it wont harm ur hair...in fact depending on the type of oil u use and how long u leave it in..it helps ur hair grow better..not longer just better..it also helps prevent dandruff to a certain extent

Coconut oil is the best natural hair treatment. At least once a week, apply coconut oil to your hair, focusing on your scalp, and leave it in overnight- the linger you leave it in, the better. Then wash it out and shampoo and condition your hair. If you keep doing this every week, you hair will be healthy, grow faster, and will be stronger.

You get oily wet hair. Otherwise, it depends on the oil itself. I would definitely not suggest 10w-40 castrol.... Great for the car, bad for the hair.

putting oil & water on the hair effects the hair and it creates the way for dandruff to enter your hair and effect hair fall.
