Not sure if this is an etiquette question or not. Everyone knows tipping has gotten way out of hand, so to speak. Of all the silly places you have seen tips solicited, which places bug you the most? Do you ignore them or do you feel obligated to stuff them with money?

between the ladies i take advantage of to paintings at a gasoline station with (the position we weren't informed we couldn't settle for innovations, even if it wasn't something we outright requested for) use to maintain a tip jar on the counter. She would shove it less than the sign up even as someone we worked with got here in, yet she change into in back and our boss pronounced it even as she went in to analyze up on the save. heheh the girl wasn't hearth, yet she did ought to get rid of the jar (the boss looked on the safe practices digicam feed randomly after that) and all her innovations from that day were donated to an MS fund we were operating on the time. ... no longer atypical, i think, yet humorous and all i ought to imagine of.

Honestly, the worst to me is in the restroom to tip attendants! You are already paying an arm and a leg plus a hefty tip at a nice restaurant. Personally, I don't care to have anyone speak to me and do anything for me in the restroom. Some decorum and privacy is preferred by most. But then again, this is just my humble opinion!

Depending on the situation, if it's a street cart then yes I will leave a tip.
If it's in Dairy Queen then no I will not, they do nothing but take the order, we have to do all the work, including clean up.
Hope this helps.
