Why Christians dont agree with each other and set their own versions of christianity like protestant, catholic etc?

Why they all disagree, and all the bibles are edited by human beings?

Why are there so many groups, means more christians are not united?

Why people choose to believe the bible which has been edited by huma beings, changed by human..

Why are they never united like the Islam, in Islam, all the Quran are the same content. They are united.

-25 points for you, for all of those questions asked.

They disagree because they worship a fake. They can't figure out what the truth is so they just splintered into many fractions.

1 That was not always true, but evil and rebellion against God seems to be part of human nature. Most of the sects are very small. People like to believe they are brighter than the apostles. They get caught up in their own thinking.

2 Although there is a degree of disagreement about certain passages in scripture, there isn't a lot of disagreement. Unless you are an extreme form of Protestant, Christians do not hold the bible in the same way a Muslim holds the Quran.

3. See 1

4 The bible is a witness of earlier events during the apostolic period and earlier. It is part of the apostolic tradition. Protestants dropped the apostolic tradition which frames the bible and in the process lost 1800 years of history, 300 before Christ and 1500 after Christ. This limits their ability to learn and is part of the reason there are currently 46,000 Protestant denominations.

5. Islam isn't united. It split very early between Shia and Sunni. There are also other smaller groups. As to the Quran, scholars have been uncovering earlier versions of the Quran and it appears the Quran has gone through the same process the bible went through. It isn't spoken of as openly as in Christian circles because Muslim extremist will kill scholars who openly speak the truth about changes in the Quran while Christians don't kill scholars for telling the truth about the bible. Like the bible, there is a reasonable archaeological record of the editing process of the Quran. This is to be expected by any hand copied document.

The bible was altered from time to time by scribes, but Christians have a reasonable idea of what was contained in the early scriptures. Unlike Islam, Christians are not afraid to look too closely at the early books. There is a nice archaelogical record forming and at least since the 1960's it has been obvious that the current received Quran is not the same as earlier versions accepted by earlier Muslims.

Both the Quran and the Bible have been subject to change, significant change as it happens, over the years. This is more serious for Muslims and for Fundamentalist Christians who make strong claims for their ideas of their books.

Let's take a closer look at your question.

You asked "Why don't christans agree with each other..."

Many don't agree because unfortunately, being a christian denominated Church is more about how many people you can get in your church, then how many are willing to listen to the truth.
Christianity has turned into Big Bussiness for Churches. In a sense tell the people what they want to here, and they will come to you and give you plenty of money too!!!

Your second question is apart of my first answer. I and many people believe that the King James Version is the closes to the original greek and Hebrew translations. However. the main reason for editing it is to change the meaning. Many Christian churches are afraid of loosing thier congregation throw hard truth. They are afraid they won't get the funding need for the church. So the change the bible to say things they would make a person conformatable coming to this chruch.

Your third question.

True unification will only come when Christ returns, only God the Fahter knows the hearts of men!!!! Therefore he can be the only one to bring the the true believers of Christ together.

Your forth question.

Although it is true that it has been edited many times, The King James Version is the most believable. It is the reason why soo many television stations such as National Geographic, Discovery, and History international are sooo interested in it now!!!!

Your fith and final question

Please be not fooled. Most people in the Islamic Faith are not thier because they want to be. They are thiere by sheer force. And it is ment to control them. For example, notice you have the freedom to disagree with the bible, and to turn it down if you wish, no one will kill you for it. You even have the right to look into another faith if you choose.

Now try that in Islam and they will slaughter you and your enitre family if you even think about not agreeing with them. To disagree with the Islamic faith is to be put to death immediately.

Let not thier united front fool you, Satan always puts up a good front.

Godbless and I hope this helps.

All bible is the same like the quran. Bible has not been edited but only translated to our own langugages.

Christians are not united b'coz each one is different and they want want others to follow what they say. But their sayings are of the same context in the bible.

As for the different protestants and the catholics, Martin luther king found some priest taking bribe for the confessions, and other crimes. So a more sin free group of protestants evoled.

Christianity is divided because of interpretation to basic Christian teaching. The Divinity of Jesus Christ is not being believed by other Christians. They don't believe that Jesus is the reincarnation of God. Baptism is also a major teachings that each one has his own interpretation and the life after death ideas.
Same with Islam that it has been divided with Suni and Shiites Muslim, one that follows the prophet Mohammed and the other son in law of Mohammed.
Division has been always there. But since God is in Spirit and Truth, there must be one Spirit. Aren't confused also that Judaism, Islam and Christianity is speaking to the same God that Abraham is referring to? Or the same God that gave Moses the Law? Who divided the ideas, I am certain, its not from God.

If you know anything about Christianity, you know that there are many branches of Christianity. For the record, Catholics & Protestants and many others ARE, in fact already Christians! It means they believe Jesus Christ was the son of God.
Peace.

All Christians have different standards, different beliefs, thoughts, and ideas. Some of them don't feel the need to unite because of the "holier than thou" factor.Sickening isn't it.But,the only excuse I guess to have is "we are human".I just try to be friendly and polite regardless of the persons beliefs. It works MIRACLES.
