No religion makes sense to every1 which is probably a good thing as there wouldn't be any1 open to otha ideas if that was so...in my opinion, the reason there is so many relgions is to remind every1 that we will neva hav all the answers and even if we did wot wud we do then???...the best concept i've heard would be that we all have 'ideas' and thats all they are....religions included...To say we kno without a doubt that we r right and every1 else should share the same view is an impossible concept in itself....much better to just have ideas..(The film Dogma highlights this concept)...life is too short to spend it hating othas coz they dont share the same view or even wondering y we r here all the time..Don't get me wrong there is no problem with healthy debate and theorys but...at the end of the day, who ever created us (if u believe in a creator) gave us so many amazing and beautiful things in life which i dont think they would want us to spend all our time praying, analysing or jus generally wasting time on un-healthy ways of thort....if u dont believe sumthin created all this, the same applies coz however we came about such wonders as love..beautiful landscapes,etc...they r here and ours to either hold dear or throw to the wind...the choice is ours to make....no one elses...

I take heed of your advice and shall attempt not to be biased. If I were, I would say, no religion makes sense, both becasuse (1) I am an agnostic, and (2) just a casual look at history will tell you that most wars are fought because of religious differences. Having said that, I do believe that Hinduism does make most sense. That is because, more than a religion, it is a philosophy to live by. For ancient Hindus, this was a way to live...the words "Hindu" and "Hinduism" were not even coined by them, they were coined by the western world. But if you see Hinduism in today's context, sadly, it is losing the very base of its existence...tolerance. The reason is that it is being hijacked by a group of fundamentalists who do not understand its philosophy well enough. And because of them, what has survided for thousands of years, may forever be lost.

None, actually. It depends more on what you are willing or want to believe in, there's a certain amount in each religion that takes a fair amount of faithful leaping. I think a person should take their personal beliefs and simply find a religion that is best for them, that flows with their own way of thinking.
Personally, I don't think religion can make sense. If it did... well, I'm thinking something along the lines of a disaster movie.

No religion really makes sense - most of what we know today about all religions has stemmed from chinese whispers. They are all a work of fiction & the followers of any religion cannot think for themselves, they need guidance so look to religion. There is nothing wrong with that, but people should start to believe in themselves a bit more.

As has been recently proven, a strong religious belief has been categorised as a form of mental illness (don't blame me, blame the psychiatrists who carried out the study) giving similar brain scan patterns as to those who suffer schizophrenia and/or "hear voices". *Scientifically* religion therefore makes no sense at all. If you need a religion to enforce the tenet of "why don't we all just be nice to each other", and not use religion to justify killing innocents, then something's wrong.

None of them. I don't see how I can't be biased! You will also get answers from religious people, so they will be biased too! Every opinion is based on some form of bias. I just choose not to have my life governed by an archaic set of man made laws, of whatever creed.

I'm an aetheist but could see how pagans who worship the Sun and seasons could have some logic to their beliefs, more so than the complicated mass of organised superstitions, fables and odd ideas that make up most 'mainstream' religions.

It's difficult to say, especially when most of them are related anyway.Loads of religions share certain beliefs and certain regulations that are similar. What you have to remember is why most of these religions exist in the first place.People needed to be kept under control for mankind to stand any chance of survival,so certain rules were put in place. They became their religion, those who didn't agree with these rules broke away and started their own rules(religion) and so and so on.

How could you not be biased? If you believe Islam makes the most sense, can you still be Chrisitan for example? Logic says that your current religion makes the most sense to you unless there are reasons that prevent you from converting, like social rejection for example. Since I am a Muslim and proud to be, Islam makes the most sense to me.

ISLAM.
Islam is the only religion where the God is not Human. Allah is God. The only God. Prophet Mohammad is his messenger.
In other religions, their gods are human, how could human beings follow another human beings as god? How could human being create another human being? How could a tiny human being create the Earth and the universe which is billions times bigger? Why do human pray to a man-made ceramic clay statue?
Islam is the obvious most sense religion. Islam is the truth. They seldom disagree on their beliefs. Unlike the Christians, the christians are not united and dont agree among another and set their own kind of Christianities, and edit their bibles.
So Islam is the truth.
GOODLUCK. Think carefully.
