I was raised Catholic, but have not practiced in years. I was wondering what is the difference in the churches? Do I have to change my religion to get married in his church? I really love him with all my heart, I just don't really understand his religion at all. Someone told me his is one that feels the Holy Spirit, and falls to the floor? I really don't get that one at all. I have so many questions on his whole religion, can someone please help! I might have somemore questions later , too. TTYL

If yu haven't practiced your faith in years, you need to make a choice.

Rediscover your Catholic roots, or accept your husband's.

The Catholic church generally has no real problem with Catholics marrying other Christians, but you might want to check out the fine points with your parish priest, just to avoid potential surprises or problems later.

By the way, some Catholic groups have been known to fall down under the influence of the Holy Spirit, too.

There's a lot of that going around, lately.

Presbyterian are definately Christians, and thier main goal is to stress Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. However, I kind of agree with you that they somtimes over due it with the falling to the floor thing.

However, most important for your is to decide Do you want to be a child of God in the name of Jesus Christ? Do you want to know more about him and what he has for you? Are you willing to begin to make spiritual not physical scacrifices that will help you to grow and live a healthier life for you and your friends and family?

If so start with The Holy Bible. It helps to read Genesis for starters and if you have any questions any at all you can come here or write me for better clarity.

GodBless and I hope this helps.

yes but first you have to sacrifice a live goat in your l iving room and do some ritualistic chants for three hours following the goat thing. after that you are good to go.
