I think Bangladesh is the least of India's problems. The Naxalites aren't from Bangladesh, neither are those who did the train bombings, nor those who killed the Indian prime minister a few years back. Bangladesh is minor player in India's security worries, and if anything should be an issue only so far as Bangladesh will be a major humanitarian issue in the future (low lying land and very poor).

Guess eveyone else who has answered to this questions has no idea of what is happening in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is the breeding gound for terrorists that specifically carryout terror attacks on India. Hindus in Bangladesh as being totured and killed everyday, temples are being bulldozed. And millions of Bangladeshis get into WestBengal every week without any checks and are upsetting the economy there and taking Indian jobs, and there are many banglas that are terror sleeping cells.

Yeah. You have solved all the problems and waiting for new ones. Just don't throw your weight too much around and think that you can bully the weaker nations for ever. This is what you did with Pak and pushed it to find a way out for nukes. Now you can scream whatever you want but they are equally powerful and nobody will buy your c*ck and bull story any more. Same thing will happen with others also. You are not the only super intelligent race in this world to learn and copy the tricks from others. If you think your scientists have done a great achievement in the world by making some missiles, bombs and software, so be it. Go out and see other countries. 700 million is not shitting in open grounds and public places.
Also, what makes you think that you are such a mighty force?. IPKF was forced to shut it's a** and walkoff by a few thousand LTTEs.

It is long since Bangladesh has gone away from the path on which Mujibur Rehman struggled to set the nation on. Mujibur Rehman gone the way he die, due to the conspiracy of the ISI. Since then, Bangladesh has turned out to be another thorn in the flesh of India. May be India should consider experimenting with a tough line, in checking terrorism from its neighbourhood, in Bangladesh. We will have to deal with this country rather professionally and ruthlessly. If that experiment succeeds or even it does not succeed in the way we wanted it, with the experience gained in such an action, we should embark upon another action on Pakistan. India should shed its pacifistic and timid tendency in dealing with its enemies.

- only if you knew how many INDIAN rebel groups are in Bangla
- then you would know how much they are affecting Bangladesh
-Why are you going to go after Bangla when terrorism breeds in your own nation ( Kashmir and numerous NE States)
-How many terrorist attacks are caused by Kashmiri militants?
how many are committed by Bengalis from Bangladesh?
-We are neighbors and we will always have problems but dont let these conflicts caused by criminels of both nation ruin our great relationship
ps- Why are you talking about swords? Take a random Bengali that you do not know and a random indian you do not know, mix them up good and try pointing your sword at the Bangladeshi.

oh, yeah, that's the first thing I think of bangladesh needing. maybe instead we could start by replacing their arsenic laced wells - installed by aid agencies.
wasn't it some indian dude who said 'an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind?'
