To me butterflies are like moths and I hate them too. Our neighbour has planted a Buddlei bush right next to the fence and we get hundreds of damned butterflies flying around our back yard when the flowers are in bloom.

Butterflies are Beautiful. Did you ever see that movie with Goldie Hawn where she fell in love with a blind guy? Did you know that butterflies are migratory? Some people confuse some species of moth for butterflies. Butterflies are rare and beautiful...and they remind me of angels.

Me too Me too!! I Hate Them!! Friends think i'm werid for hating them!! Im SO scared if they come near me i just stand there in shock im to scared to move... or i just scream and wave my arms around... haha I do look like a mentalist but its fine! I cant even kill them im to scared also moths... gota hate the moths.

I like them. In fact I named my computer "butterfly." Which is kind of a pun, because my computer was put together by Monarch Computers Inc. ( http://www.monarchcomputer.com/ ). I do like butterflies though. Have a nice day!

We all got got our wierd phobias and we dont always know when or how they started.Mine is candy wrappers.
People have different 'reasons' for their phobia, some of which include the erratic flight patterns, the actual colors and images on them, their size, and even the feel of them. It's key to note that phobias are irrational fears. People that fear them or anything else (heights, spiders, etc), and do not need to explain themselves.

i don't hate butterflies...but i had this classmate back in my freshmen year who loathed butterflies. he's a hard case! just a weird fear ae. anyways he was open about it. one day a butterfly came fluttering inside the lecture room. boy was he scared. erm...i suppose your name isn't michael, and you're not 20 years old, are you?

butterflies are beautiful....just because they scare you does not mean they should be killed...if you see one, let it flutter on by....make sure first that it's not a moth, moths look very similar...i hate moths but i would never kill one
