yes its possible for you to remove your own skin tags or even a freind to help you but I would advise against it because of many reasons
1. the use of lignocaine by injection. Some lignocaine injections have addrenalin in to maintain the numbing effect and if you are using this on the peripheral parts of the body you could possibly cause ischemic disease literaly cut off the blood supply to that area.
2. the possible introduction of infection you need to be trained to keep an area clean. MRSA is no fun at all.
3. the tags that have been taken off will be biopsied at a lab for cancers and pre-cancerous cells this is a facility that you will not have access to if its a DIY job.
please go to a doctor or nurse specialist who will do a proper job and keep you smiling
best of luck

In cases in which a skin tag is irritated or cosmetically unwanted, treatment may be done by freezing the tag with liquid nitrogen, tying off the tag with a thread or suture so as to cut off the blood supply, or cutting off (excising) the tag with a scalpel or scissors.
Futhermore,consult a doctor.

Hi, i dont recommend doing this to yourself unless you see your doctor and he says its ok, but what i do is just clip them off with nail clippers if they are really small. However, i advise going to the doctors just in case skin tags are not the same things that i sometimes come up in. good luck.

Best advice of course is a DR.
I must admit I just take rubbing alcohol and scrub my scissors and then wipe my tags really well and just cut them off.
The Dermatologist told me they would charge me a fortune to remove mine, so I chose to do it myself. Probably not the wisest thing, but I did it anyway.

Treatment from a doctor only. He will either freeze them or tie them off. Not something that can be done by yourself.

They should be removed by a doctor. They use a very simple procedure and you're less likely to get an infection.
