I think I'm going to go to bed and manipulate my man right now!

I do agree the word Love is used and abused way too often and taken way too lightly. But as for women using it to manipulate men, I'm sure that's the case sometimes but equally men learn at a young age how to do the same. I remember dating and hearing I love you. And I knew that only meant until I get what I want from you. So I think we should agree that it's both men and women that use and abuse love and what it really is suppose to mean between two people.

Yes, the word gets used and abused far too often by people who haven't the slightest idea what it means. However, what makes you think men are using the term to sleep with women? Women like sex at least as much as men do, at least for the first third of their lives. If they want sex, they will allow themselves to be "used" to get off. Have a nice day!

what purpose is there for women to manipulate men? what good do they get from manipulating them ? In now days, most women are self-sufficient, financially and emotionally. Some men use this term to sleep with women, but the same is true for the women. There are many women too who use this term just to sleep with men.

Everyone uses the word love for their own personal gain. Women use it to get affection and time and flowers and blah blah blah. Men use it to get the women to feel comfortable, which gets them in bed! There are those situations where people are just needy of that feeling of security and safety and in that sense, men and women can use the word. I think we can all agree the term is used often too loosely and without sureness.

Of course love is abused and misunderstood. And no it wasn't invented my women. It is a concept that has long since engulfed the human race for centuries. Poets and writers have long since the beginning of time tried to make sense of it through expressive poems and novels. Love is a beautiful thing when it is reciprocated by someone who is genuine and honest and compassionate and accepts you with your flaws

LOVE is nice to be able to have. one day maybe I will find my one true love but until then......

I think LOVE is a word developed by Hallmark, the jewelry stores, the candy makers, and the flower shops.

what I would really LOVE is someone to cuddle with, eat sloppy greasy pizza with on Saturday night, watch scary movies with, go hiking with, or at least be able to have an adult conversation.

Love is just affection combined with responsibility, attraction and trust. When those things are nurtured and allowed to grow in a relationship between compatible people love is the result.

Yes the word love does get abused way to much.

People should start saying ( I Lust You) instead.
