Eating grass seems to be a normal behavior for dogs even though we tend to think that their diet should consist of other things. There have been a number of studies done trying to link grass eating with illness, vitamin or mineral deficiencies, lack of roughage in the diet and other things - all without producing a strong correlation to any particular problem.
It is interesting that some dogs are choosing particular spots. If the grass is different in this spot it may just taste better. I know of
several dogs who eat grass that other dogs have urinated on.

"It's a normal part of their diet," says Holly Frisby, DVM, of Doctors Foster & Smith, Inc. in Wisconsin. Wild canine relatives of dogs—wolves and foxes—eat all their catch. They end up, therefore, eating grasses and plants in the intestines of these animals. Domestic dogs, eating prepared dog food, lack this roughage and so they eat grass.
"They just like it!" Frisby also says. She mentions a beagle that picks raspberries faster than his owner.
Another reason: dogs may eat grass when they have an upset stomach in order to cause vomiting. "The grass will bind with the offending material. Then the grass acts as an irritant and causes the dog to vomit, bringing up the poisonous material at the same time," says Celia Feiler, DVM, of Winston Veterinary Hospital in North Carolina.
Finally, dogs may appear to eat grass, says Feiler, when they are just running the blades through their mouth to gather information. Their sense of smell and taste may act together to detect if other animals have walked through their area or urinated on the grass.
And then there's the city dwelling dog — deprived of grass. For a mere $8 a three-ounce bottle, he can eat: Barley Dog, the "Original" Barley Grass Supplement for Dogs.

They eat grass when they're feeling sick, it doesn't make them sick. When they have an upset stomach they eat grass to induce vomiting to make them feel better (the grass is an irritant for them)

Dogs eat grass because it settles their stomache and/or because their tummy is upset and they are trying not to throw up. However, if your dogs are constantly throwing up you really need to take them to the vet...they could have worms.

It sounds like worms. I know there are a couple of different kinds, ie pin worms ,tape worms, etc. Do they drag their butts across the carpet? If they do, You know they have worms. Id call the vet or talk to someone at the pet supply place. Good Luck!

I used to make homemade dog biscuits just for fun for my friends dogs and yes we ate some. They are no different than other baked goods but healthier bc we tend to sweeten and fat up our human consumables. Munch on. They are fine to eat. Anything your dog eats you can eat. I wouldn't go trying to eat their food on a regular basis as we have different dietary needs than a dog but it wouldn't hurt anyone to eat a doggy biscuit.
