Well i have tried all kinds of diet plans and nothing has worked for me However I am now taking care of my mother in law and she is a diabetic. She eats small meals every three hours . Most of the things she eats are low sodium, reduced fat, caffeine free, and sugar free(made with splenda) But since she has MS and cant walk ver much she really dont get as much exercise as she should. I follow her eating schedule and i walk about 5 miles a week and I went from 375lbs to 323lbs in two and a half months which was all but 8 pounds of my pregnancy weight I still continue to exercise every day and with a little luck I will be under 300 by Christmas

I would suggest you not look for a "diet" to work for you. If you are interested in losing weight and keeping it off - you need a change in life style. Eating a healthy diet of balanced food groups along with an active life style is the best way to lose it and keep it off. You can start by just changing a few things on your food habits each week. Cut down on portions, cut out sugar and caffine, eat more green vegetables. Become aware of what you are putting in your body and what it does when it gets there. You can also look into a group such as TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) - they probably have a group in your area. It's a great help. Good luck and good health.

Weight Watchers is an excellent diet. Also, I recently start just watching my intake of sugar and using artificial sweetener like Splenda. I try to watch my carbs also. I've been doing this for approx. 2 weeks and have lost 17 lbs. I eat small meals all day long.

The cabbage diet is a good one and it's used by hospitals for heart patients that need to lose weight before surgery.
The vegetable/protien diet is effective. (No red meat)
