Incorporate you work out into your busy day, walk, take the stairs. House work is already good exercise - I lost 9kg (21lbs) from doing domestic cleaning. When you are waiting in a chair, just hold your feet slightly off the ground for ten seconds and repeat. Cardio-vascular exercise is all about time, keeping your heart rate elevated for an extended amount of time. So all you can do in a short time is isometrics - muscle building and toning, stretching and so on.
I am no expert but I think you should consider doing some relaxing exercise like Tia chi - slow meditative moves while thinking about lakes and open skies.
Good luck with your studies.
