I was seeing this guy casually who was chasng me for quite a while. since i told him i wasnt going to take things any further from just kissing (because he wanted to) because i wanted to see if he really liked me and not just after one thing, he has gone cold on me. he doesnt text me anymore and he doesnt answer my texts. was he just after one thing?why is he behaving like this?i really like him and he did say he liked me too. i dunno what to do.

Every man you will ever meet between now and the time you will die will want more than kissing. Though I love kissing!
If you were kissing him the relationship was not casual.
When you told and set limits he may have interpeted this that you did not want to continue the relationship except as a tease to him. If you really like him and he said he liked you too. What is the problem. Tell him you really like him and would like to go to the next level in the relationship.

OK - here's what you need to do - GROW UP! If all he wanted from you was sex - he was wasting your time! (And his). Be true to yourself in EVERYTHING - especially when it comes to men. Get to know a guy really well - find out what you have in common - movies, football, other sports, cooking (yes, a lot of guys enjoy cooking), working out, reading books, discussing the books you have both read, etc. Once you have a good mutual base to date on, GO FOR IT GIRL! And good luck to you - but do not rush into anything, be sure you are truly in love with him and he with you, B/4 you even THINK about the bedroom.

To be bluntly honest it seems that you have already answered your own question. You wanted to wait to test if he really liked you and the moment you asked him to he started acting cold.
Although he said he liked you he doesn't like you enough to wait. I say forget him. Put it down to a bad experience and move on. There are loads of guys out there that will appreciate you and will care about you enough to wait until you are ready.

He was using you - if he genuinely liked you he'd still be in touch and the fact that hes ignoring your texts goes to show he's a pig. You can do WAYYYY better for yourself hun - find yourself a guy that isnt just after you for one thing - good luck!! xx

if he really liked you he would have respected your wishes...but since you told him it wasnt goin any further then kissing...he decided to go his seperate way...girl thank yourself a thousand times...he would have done you the same way had you slept with him but it would have been worse...forget about him cause he forgot about you

maybe he's the kinda guy who like to just DO things, rather than discuss. most men do this, it's so annoying(one of the many annoying male traits)

accept he just wanted you as a casual friend, a bit of sex would have been a bonus for him but it involved him having to wirk to hard with you, he's moved on to easier pickings, well done love!!!!
