None of Jesus' disciples witnessed the crucifixion. They "all fled" and "deserted" Jesus. This further confirms Islam's claims.

Taken from the above verses: "These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: 'Not one of his bones will be broken,' and, as another scripture says, 'They will look on the one they have pierced.' (From the NIV Bible, John 19:36-37)"

"he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 34:20)"

Notice in Psalm 34:20, it says that GOD Almighty will protect "all his bones". So, not even an inch from his bones will be damaged according to the Scriptures.

As you might know, the crucifixion back then was done by nailing to the cross the hands and the ankles or the feet. If GOD Almighty was going to protect Jesus' body that not even a single bone will be broken, then how would the crucifixion and the death of Jesus be possible then?!

The disciple John was with Jesus' mother at the foot of the cross, according to John 19:26. As for other witnesses of Jesus' crucifixion, the Roman government officials were there to be CERTAIN that Jesus was crucified. There were quite a few witnesses to Jesus' death.

As for His bones being broken, the bones could have been severely dislocated without being broken. The feet are the most complex skeletal structures in the body, and the hands are the second-most-complex. The first link below should provide insightful reading about the reality of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection.

Jesus almost certainly died while impaled on a simple stake, rather than a cross of two intersecting beams. Of course the Romans had the ability to create such devices, and probably did. But ask yourself: why they would have bothered when a simple stake would have worked just as well or better?

It is also enlightening to examine other relevant Scriptures.

You may be interested to see how your own copy of the bible translates Acts 5:30, Galatians 3:13, Deuteronomy 21:22, 23, and Acts 10:39. The King James, Revised Standard, Dyaglott, and Jerusalem Bible translate the instrument of Christ's death simply as "stake" or "tree" because the original wording simply does not support the idea that this was more than a piece of upright wood.

It is also eye-opening to examine how the first-century Christians felt about idols of any kind, much less one that glorified an instrument of death.

Hey dude.
Read the bible again. One of his disciples was there. Check the gospel of John.

John 19: 26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your son," 27and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
He was talking to John.
~~* That was as he was dieing dude.

It goes on later in John 19:
32The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. 33But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. 35The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. 36These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: "Not one of his bones will be broken," 37and, as another scripture says, "They will look on the one they have pierced."
Crucifixion was a long slow suffocation - To finish off the job the legs of the person would be broken. They didnt have to break JCs as he was already dead. Also the fact that he bled water was a fulfilment of another prophesy of him being essiah. I could go on but I dont want to bore you :)

I do want to add though that Crucifixion was an awful awful way to die - no one of Jesus stataus was ever crucified - only the scum of society. Jesus, although he was a social insurgent - He was an important and respected man.

And regarding Psalm 34:20, it says that GOD Almighty will protect "all his bones" - the resurrection my friend- Jesus was lifted from the grave days after he died - brought to life and shiz - renewed rejuvenated - thus essentially one could again say his bones were never broken. That is a stretch though and stands as an argument none the less.

The one thing i cant fathom I am supposed to follow the writings of Mohammad (sp?) and why someone would choose to follow a warrior that paved his glory through blood and war when you could follow Jesus who paved his way through sacrifice his life and a message of peace.
Its your choice though dude. God bless you on your quest for the truth. Peace.

You don't have to believe anything you don't want to believe, but guess what? Neither does anyone else.
If you aren't a Christian, I would highly recommend that you don't dabble in Christian theology unless you are prepared to have Christians return the favor to you and make disputes about Mohammed.
After all, both Christians and Muslims have broken God's commandment not to kill. To kill and then blame God for it is blasphemy.
Both have worshipped idols- Christians with their crucifixes and Muslims with their Kaaba.
Not so much fun now is it?
I thought about it and I felt bad about pointing out Muslim flaws. That isn't a right thing for me to do. It isn't any more right than what you are doing with this question. So I'll give a real answer even though your question is flawed. In your last paragraph, you ask this " If GOD Almighty was going to protect Jesus' body that not even a single bone will be broken, then how would the crucifixion and the death of Jesus be possible then?!"
I see that your answer is in your question, but you didn't see it. God is Almighty and God can do what God wants, even if that is to make possible something that you think should be impossible.
There is a passage in the Gospels that talks about the old prophecy that none of Jesus' bones would be broken and explains that when the soldiers went out to break the bones of the crucified men that day, they found Jesus already dead and decided not to break his bones. I still think it is not right that you should want to dispute Christian theology if you don't believe in Christ, because that kind of arguing cannot convince anyone of anything, it can only make people angry.
If you are a sincere person of God, Brother, then you should not try to weaken the faith of other sincere people.

Your first claim is false. At the very least, John was their, because Jesus told him to take care of Mary.
Jesus death when he was crucified was slightly unusual. Crucifixion kills because you cannot breath well enough to survive if you are suspended from outstretched arms. In a Crucifixion like Jesus', where the Jews wanted the bodies taken down before the Sabbath, Roman soldiers would break the legs of those being crucified. Jesus died before they did this, so they stabbed him in the heart instead, hence no bones were broken when he was killed. The nails were driven between bones, not through them.

Also, we have secular records of Jesus receiving the "extreme measure." for a non-roman citizen, that would be Crucifixion.

St. John was at the foot of the cross when Jesus was crucified, along with the Blessed Virgin Mary, who was also most certainly a disciple of Christ.

It is quite possible to crucify a man without breaking any bones, especially if God almighty decrees it.

Your premise is totally flawed. Islam is too.

The Bible casts very serious doubt on the name of Jesus being applied to Christ and you can research this yourself between Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew's account, together with Luke's on the naming of the child.

It was Pontius Pilate and Roman Authority who inscribed the name of Jesus on, according to the 4 Gospels, 2 crosses, while Simon bore another cross. It can ve seen that Pilate named the two thieves "Jesus" and had them bear the crosses to confuse the Biblical Jews in the great Hoax of the crucifixion after the innocent Christ was set free, and you will find no Gospel making mention of two thieves before they all arrive at Golgotha.

JESUS WAS CRUCIFIED BUT NOT THE CHRIST.

John and Peter were witnesses to Jesus' crucifixion. Remember when Jesus gave His mother, Mary, to His disciple John to care for after His death? Mary, His mother and Mary Magdelene were also witnesses. And the soldier that Peter cut the ear off of was there as a witness and helped remove His body from the cross before sun down.

None of Jesus bones were broken before He was nailed to the cross and His knees weren't broken like the other two men's knees were. Jesus dies before the Roman chief told a soldier to break their knees. His bones in His hands/wrists and feet/ankles were speared with the nails but not broken as in a fracture.

Yes, Jesus was crucified and died on the cross. And there were witnesses. Not just 4 of His followers but 3 men that were converted during His trial and scourging but many Jewish leaders that came to believe after they saw Him die and the earth shook and the skies darkened. There were dozens of witnesses that were Jewish and decided to believe that He truly was the Son of God after they witnessed it all.

Because historically it's believed cricifiction spikes were pounded between the 1st and 2nd Tarsals and the radiai and ulna of the arm as these were anchor points packed with muscle and tendon and could hold a man's weight for some time. It's unlikely a man's bones could survive the punishment but bones were not the target of a crucifier's nail, he wanted dense tissue.

What's more there is historical record that supports the claim that he was crucified. The legal ledger of his crucifiction is how we know that he didn't die over Easter Weekend.

The crucifixion described in the bible doesn't match with the way that the Romans did their crucifixions, and the there is this;

The Babylonian Talmud written somewhere around A.D. 70-200 says;
On the eve of the Passover Yeshu was hanged. For forty days before the execution took place, a herald . . . cried, "He is going forth to be stoned because he has practiced sorcery and enticed Israel to apostasy."

It's the only source outside the bible that I know of (from the same time and not written by opinionated Christians) that speaks about the death of Jesus and it says that he was stoned...
