You can find every question imaginable on here, it is like children are too lazy to figure out things for themselves. Why is that? Is studying so hard these days that kids are lazy and just ask questions (that are of obvious knowledge if you just read a book) on here? I don't blame them for resourcing but it is pseudo-cheating. Imagine if teachers found out! What gives?

I've already gathered that they are lazy. Telling me that is facetious.

I could care less about people who write long ramblings about nothing about my question and can't even spell my user name right. Its not that hard, dearies.

I'm only 26 years old and when I was growing up, we never tried to cheat by going thru the internet such as young people try to do today. Maybe they did but geez if they did it wouldn't be that accurate lol

It's nice to be here. This is one avenue to search for answers that their books don't provide. Asking is learning too.

They may not find direct answer but if you provide them with references, you are helping them with their homework.

it all started with the invetion of the internet. while helpful in terms of time and effort, it produced what you already know (lazy people who'll rather type their subjects in search engines than to spend time in libraries scoring books and other materials). that's what technology do -have you related this to other things like electric fans (upgraded to air conditioners), washing machines (now with a dry cleaner), and even simple transportation vehicles? let's admit it, life is fast-paced today. you have to hurry up or you won't get along. an editor once told us he dreads the possibility of the future -a world without printed materials. the next generations might be surprised to hear of printed books and things like that. (you see, he's in print media, that's why) our professors discourage internet sources by giving out points (5 for books, 4 for journals, and so on until 0.5 for internet source of any kind). this makes it worse for answers from here. don't place the blame entirely on them (us), when the world is indulging us into these things. some are just being practical.

Well blame yahoo for making a homework help section on here.... the smart people at yahoo must not think of it as cheating. Why do adults ask questions on here? Anyone can read a book for that matter and find answers. The point of this site is to ask questions, wether it be for homework or not.
