YES.
From the standpoint of 'we don't have all the answers, but here are the leading theories.'
Agnosticism and Atheism need to be included.
This will help promote tolerance of others and will also help protect children from cultish parents (by giving them a basis for comparison). It will also help students better understand history and current events.

It sounds good but not practical. Not everyone is interested in religion while they are studying for their living. The best is there should have a special schools for those who keen to learn all (main) religions. Do not compare them. Just teach all .

IMHO, religion is best left for the home. The schools have quite enough to teach already, and if you want to get into comparative religions--well, do we stick to the Abramhaic religions (Christianity, Judaism and Islam), or do we branch out to Buddism, Sikhism, Shinto, Wicca, Asatru, Druidry, and the host of others out there?

I hate to say it but in this modern world of religious tensions I don't think the average parent can adequately explain why terrorists worship Allah. I think we'd benifit as a country if Students were given some rudimentary understanding of theology and philosophy before being set loose on the world and being permitted to propegate. But as many point out we don't have enough time in our schools to teach our children survival skills.

In public school, no. There is such a wide base to cover I do not feel it could be taught properly.
There is plenty time for that when they get to college. I have heard the idea of it being taught as an elective is being kicked around.

Religion does not belong in school, period. School is about teaching facts, not fiction.
