I sometimes go to bed a bit earlier, like about at two, but then i wake up at 4 p.m! What is wrong with me! Sometimes I can't sleep, but sometimes i sleep a lot!

I hear ya ! Do you have any problems that are bothering you ? Sounds like the brain is working overtime. The best thing I know to do is what you're doing now. They say if you can't sleep, to get up and do something. Also, some warm milk might help. You could try hot chocolate. A little alcohol might help to get you to sleep initially too.

You have not told us why you can not sleep. Do you have things on your mind that you need to resolve? Did you get up very late and are not tired because of this? Did you take any drugs that might affect your sleep pattern? Are you always insomnic or is this a one of occurance?

All these things will affect answers that can be given, without knowing the details no answer will be effective

well i had the same problem what you are having..you know lack of sleep is sometimes causes by bad sleeping habits like sleeping late at night and waking up late at morning...you know whenever you go to bed take a good deep breath and only concentrate your mind on sleeping dont think about other things i mean dont let other things pop in your mind..make your mind thinkless i mean dont think about anything..take a walk in a park before you sleep or watch tv or read a book...that might get you to sleep i guess...

If you can't fall asleep within 20 minutes, get up and do something boring until you feel sleepy.

It is important to give your body cues that it is time to slow down and sleep. Listen to relaxing music, read something soothing for 15 minutes, have a cup of caffeine free tea, do relaxation exercises.

A hot bath will raise your body temperature, but it is the drop in body temperature that may leave you feeling sleepy.

hi, I'm having a similar problem but my insomnia is caused for stuffed nose allergies of some kind, it my help you do some exercise before you go to bed, i don't know what kind of work you do but sometimes that help, other thing are you having some kind of financial problems or love problems, that can get you up at any time at night, how long this is been going

i think you have a lot of stress. relax! have a nice glass of warm milk. forget about your work and work place or any other matter that gives you unnecessary tensions when you go to sleep. try to dream of some thing good that will cheer up your mind.

You didn't say if you have to work today or not, if you do then you're hooped dude. If you don't then just sit here with us until your eye lids get heavy, very heavy and you doze off. It's working for me already.
